🌳🌳🌳 On the site of a former wine warehouse, Parc de Bercy preserves testimonies of its past, such as a vineyard and the rails on which the cisterns ran. In the heart of the 12th arrondissement, located between Gare de Lyon and the Cour Saint-Émilion district, Parc de Bercy offers a beautiful walk in any season. On one side, you will find Paris's largest event hall, the Bercy Arena. Halfway along, film buffs will discover the Cinémathèque française (designed by American architect Franck Gehry). The finale is the romantic garden with its ponds populated by ducks and water lilies, the small lake and its island. Biodiversity is highlighted in Parc de Bercy at the Maison du Lac (exhibitions on gardens, lectures...), as well as at the Maison du Jardinage (advice center for beginners, gardening courses), the Chai de Bercy and the Orangerie. Here, families stroll, teenagers improvise a football match or do pirouettes in the skatepark, and stressed Parisians relax in peace. https://parisjetaime.com/ger/kultur/parc-de-bercy-p1060 🌐

The Coulée verte winds its way as a green ribbon along an old railway line through the east of Paris. A large section runs at a height of 10 meters, another part of the route leads through tunnels. So to speak, the High Line of Paris. It was designed by landscape architects and gardeners and is approx. 5 kilometers long - from the Place de la Bastille to the Boulevard Périphérique on the outskirts of the city.
