The Church of Our Lady of the Annunciation was completely rebuilt between 1865 and 1867 based on plans by architect Ernest Massiou. It inherited the altar, baptismal font, statues, and votive offerings from the old church, which date back to the 18th century. It also boasts beautiful stained-glass windows. The church is distinguished by the inscription "French Republic - Liberty, Equality, Fraternity" engraved in the stone above the porch. The inscription was likely added in 1905, following the separation of Church and State.

Eugène Chauffour, mayor of La Flotte from 1947 to 1952, gave his name to the course along the Promenade de La Clavette. His son, Jean-Charles Chauffour, ran the Peugeot garage located on… the same Cours.
