The peak of Montsupt is one of the many volcanic peaks of the Plaine du Forez and the foothills of the Monts. You can make out the valley of the Curraize to the north, and that of its tributary, the Malval, to the west. Located in the town of Saint-Georges-Haute-Ville, the mountain is close to two km from the town of Margerie.

In the old chapel you can see very beautiful frescoes if you open the hatch in the door and turn on the light switch. After about 30 seconds, the interior lights up for a brief moment.

The Château du Rousset, whose construction and arrangements stretched out between the 13th and 18th centuries, rises on the right bank of the Mare, in a wooded valley, at the western end of the town of Margerie- Chantagret. It is built on a small rocky eminence surrounded on two sides by the river. Quoted from 1260, the Rousset fortress was the possession over the centuries of families from the Bastie, Lothon, Sugny and Damascus until the Revolution. Sold as national property, it had many owners during the 19th century. It has belonged to the Midroit-Guigon family since 1873. Source: GRAL
