Take your time to admire all the splendor. A tip: go up to see the castle and the church (only the exterior, as it's inhabited). You won't regret it.

I grew up there in Unieux Pertuiset Throughout my youth with childhood friends during school holidays it was every day superb walks in summer and winter from Unieux to Saint-Victor sur Loire and back. in autumn when the Loire burst its banks the hike was impossible the road and the bridges were flooded. on the other hand during the flood we had to go to the grangeant dam because 3 out of 4 valves were open, it was impressive especially with the food supplies.
