From here, you have the best view of the gorge and, above all, of the medieval village, built steeply on the rocks (150 m high) with its churches and chapels. Rocamadour is a much-visited place of pilgrimage and houses the relics of Saint Amadour and the Black Wooden Madonna (12th century). Many shops and restaurants are located along the Rue de la Couronnerie, the only and lively street. There are plenty of parking spaces in the surrounding area, so it will be very busy in the summer months.

The Cabouy chasm, located near Gramat, is a vast resurgence that marks the birth of the Ouysse. It is one of the most famous cave diving sites in the Lot: the submerged galleries extend for several kilometers and are only accessible to specialized divers. The site is easily accessible on foot, and even without diving, you can observe the impressive entrance to the chasm and the typical environment of the causse.

Interesting little museum about Joachim Murat (1767-1815), one of Napoleon's most important generals. He was born and grew up in this village inn. Napoleon Bonaparte appointed him King of Naples.

Some climbs almost require an E-support or the right gear ratio. Otherwise the climb is impossible and you will have to walk parts. It seems that no one has been on the indicated single track for a while. Full of vegetation.

This single track follows a GR (Greater Regional Trail) where you might encounter hikers, especially during the summer. But nothing's stopping you from enjoying it by mountain bike, as long as you stay vigilant and respectful of other mountain users!
