Very picturesque village of Roquebrun

Very nice hike but unpleasant experience when arriving at the summit and starting the descent. For 100 m, the path is covered with prickly bush branches. Then, the people staying in a caravan on the right side unleashed their very aggressive Australian Shepherd on us, before calling it back with difficulty. They then claimed, against all evidence, that the path did not descend to Roquebrun and that it was private. We bypassed this probably seasonal obstacle. August 14, 2025

Magnificent view of the village and the Orb River. West of the bridge, the Farret esplanade offers free water bottle refills.

Attention! As the signpost prompts you down a different route. Komoot is your friend here. The return path back down the hill (for those of us who walked clockwise) is semi-hidden and overgorwn

A magnificent view but where the wind can blow quite hard depending on the weather.
