The Sainte-Philomène chapel was built around 1880 according to the plans of a village resident, a surveyor, Mr. Joseph Bossan. Its construction was decided by the village "fabrique", a parish committee of the time, which wished to replace an old chapel located a few meters from the current site. In neo-Gothic style, it is built of stone and cement and presents a remarkable architecture for a simple village chapel. It is a remarkable heritage that attracts the curiosity of tourists or hikers touring the chapels. https://www.fondation-patrimoine.org/les-projets/chapelle-sainte-philomene-a-chatte/103549

Beautiful panorama over the Vercors and the Grand Veymont from the chapel.

Small waterfall with impossible climb. This spot is somewhat atypical for the Vercors. It reminds me of Madeira.
