A calm and relaxing place with many spots to take a break… if there are no fishermen!

A little corner of paradise, easily accessible even by gravel from the D-107-E after about 700 m of track/trail. Seen in spring after some sustained rain, the place allows for a refreshing break and would be worth a little exploration.

Nice site for a picnic break (with the presence of 2 large tables in the shade), easily accessible from Vacquières or even from the D107E1 via a gravel single track). The Cammaous bridge was built between the 11th and 12th centuries to cross Brestalou (on the road between Castelnauz and the Cévennes) and restored around fifteen years ago.

Also known as Lake Pascaye or Lake Matane, this remote body of water whose water is mainly intended to irrigate the surrounding vineyards is also a delight for locals and the rare tourists who venture there. You can walk around it on foot, by mountain bike and picnic in the shade.

Nice body of water but the surroundings are a little too concrete for my taste
