A castle to visit if you have the opportunity! Otherwise, it remains very visible from the road!

Town whose name comes from the fortified bridge that spanned the Loire to prevent the Vikings from going up the river.

simply a great bridge over the Loire and a fascinating view. We were so lucky with the fantastic light that morning. Since I didn't take a picture of the bridge itself, I added a bridge view image from Wikipedia.

As always, we first went to a boulangerie in the morning and then to a PMU-FDJ bar for coffee. We carried out this ceremony for the entire holiday, over 40 days of cycling. And here in La Roche d´Érigné we found Le Sporting! The owners are both super nice and accommodating. The coffee is simply amazingly good! I can only advise you: storm these PMU-FDJ bars and drink coffee - there is almost always wine here too and everything is reasonably priced - and - that's what matters: simply really good!!!
