Overlooking the entire bay of Mont Saint Michel, this part of the road from Saint Jean le Thomas to Carolles is incredible. Many equipped stops allow you to enjoy the view from the cliffs. When I was little, my father told me every time we passed that the place was considered "the most beautiful kilometer in France". Not false. Only downside, no cycling facilities, we share the road with cars.
