A great route where you can make quick progress. The paved path isn't particularly bumpy and is easy to ride on.

No, you shouldn't turn back here, but you can certainly pause for a moment. The young Hans Keilson hiked this far with his father before both turned back to be home in time for lunch. Hans Alex Keilson, honorary citizen of Bad Freienwalde, lived here until he fled to the Netherlands in 1936, where he was persecuted by the Nazis as a Jew, writer, and doctor.

The landscape park in Brunnental was created at the end of the 18th century according to plans by Peter Joseph Lenné. From 1816 onwards it was redesigned in the style of English landscape gardens. Some sculptures, such as the winter or the bull, were added more recently. There is basically a main path through the park, a wider path in the south at the edge of the forest and the remains of the former promenade on the northern and western edges. A walk in the park, which is actually always well-kept, has a calming effect. Especially at the highlight of the park, the mill pond. The grounds are very idyllic.

Very nice path, unfortunately a bit unkempt with some trees lying across it.

From 1910 until the flood of 1947 it was a bathing establishment and is now a fishing lake. The small fishing pond is called Jungfernloch.
