A nice campsite right on the Doubs. Just set up camp. In the evening, someone goes around and registers you. Then you pay at the cash register. I think it was around €7 for the tent. I set up a spot in the shade. The restrooms are a bit older, but when I was there to shower, someone was always there cleaning, and it was noticeable. There was a music festival in the village that evening. The birds were noisy at night, but that's nature. The next morning, we drove to the delicious bakery in the village and then moved on.

Please note, this hike was done in May 2025, and the very last section was inaccessible. We were unable to reach the source of the Cusancin River; fallen trees and overgrown vegetation made the path impossible to find. We had to turn around and return to the starting point by road (barely a hundred meters of asphalt).

The campsite is managed by the municipality. The reception is open for 30 minutes each morning and evening. If you arrive between these hours, you can simply set up camp on a free pitch and report to reception when it opens.

a beautiful cycle path along the Doub. The pictures speak for themselves. I could see a huge cave from the opposite side that people had run into.

The blue spring is a Vauclusian spring which emerges in an oval basin. Its depth is nine meters. Divers explored the submerged gallery over a length of 220 meters before stumbling upon a narrowing which was not crossed. The gallery is made up of two siphons. The turquoise blue waters give it its name.
