A statue like this would be great for my garden. Can't be overlooked. 🥰

Here it stands, 6 m high and made of styrofoam, appropriately near the Napoleon Tower and Arenenberg Castle. Apparently our Napoleon was also offered for sale to Arenenberg, but they didn't want it, probably because it wasn't weatherproof. And this is Napoleon I, not Napoleon III, who grew up on Arenenberg, which may have played a role in the offer being rejected. In Helsighausen, however, Napoleon I stands wonderfully protected from the weather under a large canopy and delights walkers and hikers, whether I or III. 😁.

the connection with Napoleon in this area is enormous. Whether it's a statue, tower, castle (Arenenberg Castle with Napoleon Museum), single trail name, etc. ... somehow connected to Napoleon. Emperor Napoleon grew up partly in Arenenberg Castle. He spent his childhood and youth on Lake Constance and learned the German language

from the UBS conference hotel you can go directly to the forest or to the P, where the round starts; it is manageable at about 2.8 km, so it is also very suitable for older people and beginners; others may choose a different direction or run multiple laps

In Wäldi there are many paths that invite you to take long walks, through the forest or along the edge of the forest, from the Napoleon Tower up there with a great view of the lake

The tower has a somewhat special design: the 208-step spiral staircase is protected by wooden walls, the slats of which are arranged in such a way that a view is possible at all times through the slots. The tower is 40 meters high. The viewing platform is at 36.5 meters.
