Here, on the first hills south of Basel, you can see the agglomeration extending into the valley. A beautiful landscape mixing nature and urbanization.

You can stock up on water or energy bars at the kiosk at the Flüh tram station. As an alternative there is a coffee, right across the street

Somewhere up there in the forest between the rocks are the remains of an ancient fortress.

Super down hill stretch, natural berms, pumps, rocks and mini drops. Komoot does not mark this on the map... so it is a very good find.

Part of the Esselgraben trail... I think it's one of the best trails in the area. There are a lot of deep ruts. Nice when dry, could be a bit nasty in winter

This trail is a great and challenging descent from the tops;. I have the feeling that these trails are not so often visted, and they are challenging to find first time. Repeated visits will pay off

Great trail, a little difficult to find and link up the total descent? That is because it is not a motorway. So come and explore ... just make sure you have a helmet on !
