The old Lamastre station is the arrival point of the Ardèche train. Called Le Mastrou, this train takes you on a discovery of the Gorges du Doux. Built from 1886 to 1891, the railway line goes up the gorges from Saint-Jean-de-Muzol to Lamastre. This old steam locomotive takes you back in time. It is possible to make the trip with bicycles. Remember to book your tickets well in advance, especially during the summer.
