A large structure visible from afar. The origin of the mill lay at the end of the 15th century. The new mill was built after it was destroyed by a fire. Currently, hydropower is used to generate energy through two turbines. 😄 The recycling center is located on the grounds of the listed building.

Great new cycle path along the Elster River. The Mühltal valley is almost even more beautiful. My recommendation is to follow the cycle path as it was sketched there and take your time in the Mühltal valley to enjoy it. And all without any inclines, wonderful!!
